Goals

1. The participant will be familiarized with the different types and forms of Multimedia.

2. The participant will understand the process for inputting media into an informational structure or system.

3. The participant will comprehend the basics of digitizing existing media.

4. The participant will grasp the modes of creating new media on the computer.

5. The participant will be able to create a PowerPoint Presentation

Objectives

1.1. The participant will be familiarized with the different types and forms of Multimedia.

2.1. The participant will understand the process for inputting media into an informational structure or system.

3.1. The participant will be familiarized with the different programs for editing graphic files.

3.2. The participant will be familiarized with the different programs for editing audio files.

3.3. The participant will understand the differences between information/organizational systems.

3.4. The participant will comprehend the hardware and software necessary for digitizing existing media, including graphics, audio, and video.

4.1. The participant will grasp the modes of creating new media ( including graphics, audio, and video) on the computer.

5.1. The participant will be able to create a PowerPoint Presentation

5.3. The participant will be able to insert graphics into a PowerPoint presentation

5.4. The participant will learn to create new graphics for a PowerPoint Presentation.

5.2. The participant will be able to copy or create text into a PowerPoint presentation
