Goals

1. The participant will learn the various functions and features of email and be able to send and receive email messages, send attachments, and learn to copy and paste text.

 2. The participant will learn the basics in navigating the web, saving web pages, and using search engines to locate subjects on the World wide Web

 3. In this section, the participant will learn the basics of Newsgroups, listservers, and other online communications

4. The participant will compose and generate HTML pages using Word and Front Page

 5. The participant will experiment with and manipulate E-Class to build a trial TALM.

Objectives

1.1. The participant will learn the various functions and features of email and be able to send and receive email messages, send attachments, and learn to copy and paste text.

2.1. The participant will learn the basics in navigating the web, saving web pages, and using search engines to locate subjects on the World wide Web

3.1. In this section, the participant will learn the basics of Newsgroups, listservers, and other online communications

4.1. The participant will compose and generate HTML pages using Word and Front Page

4.2. The participant will be able to insert graphics into an HTML page.

4.3. The participant will be able to create a table and edit its properties in an HTML page.

4.4. The participant will be able to make a hyperlink to another Html page and bookmark to another area in the same page.

5.1. The participant will experiment with and manipulate E-Class to build a trial TALM.

5.2. The participant will build a trial lesson in E-Class.

5.3. The participant will recognize the file structure necessary to build an E-Class.

5.4. The participant will learn how to insert images, video, and audio files into E-Class.
