International Studies Association Annual Convention

The International Studies Association (ISA) is one of the largest inter-disciplinary scholarly organizations in the USA.  It has a broad range of interests including International Development.  For conference details please see http://www.isanet.org/Conferences/New-Orleans-2015

In addition, several Payson faculty members and a Payson Ph.D. graduate will be making presentations as follows:

Dr. Stanley Samarasinghe will be making a presentation on February 20 from 8:15 – 10:00 am as part of the following panels:

  • Presidential Theme Panel - The United Nations and Development: The View from the Global South
  • Theme: Global IR and Regional Worlds: A New Agenda for International Studies

Dr. Anna Monhartova and Dr. Nanette Svenson have put together a panel entitled

  • WA59:  Social Innovation as an Alternative Approach to International Development to be held February 18 from 8:15 – 10:00 am.

Dr. Chavanne Peercy, a Payson Ph.D. graduate, along with Dr. Samarasinghe as part of the following panel:

  • SA53:  Case Studies on Peacebuilding to take place on February 21 from 8:15 – 10:00 am.

The Convention will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
