Summer Institute 2015 Information Session I

Graduate Students: would you like to study abroad with the Payson Center this summer? You are cordially invited to attend an information session to learn all about the International Development Summer Institute 2013.

Focusing on subjects like child labor and rights, environmental law, transitional justice, migration and refugee rights and emergency response, the Payson Center is pleased to offer courses in five (5) locations as part of the 2013 Global Development Summer Institute:

  • Brazil
  • Nepal
  • Rwanda
  • Thailand
  • Uganda

We are also offering two independent study field research opportunities concentrating on:

  • Ethnic Conflict in Sri Lanka
  • Urban Development in Shaghai, China

Our institute offers intensive, two (2) to three (3) week long programs with one (1) to two (2) courses per location. Courses are open to graduate students and non-Tulane graduate level-students. All courses earn three (3) credits. The cost is $4,100 for one course or $7,500 for two. (Note: Price does not include airfare).

This information session will be presented by some of our faculty members conducting the Institute courses.

Every Summer, the Payson Center for International Development offers intensive, two (2) to four (4) week long study-abroad programs with one (1), two (2) or three (3) courses per location. Courses are open to graduate students and non-Tulane graduate level-students.

For Summer 2015, the Payson Center for International Development is pleased to offer courses in five (5) locations as part of the 2015 Global Development Summer Institute.
