Shea Garrsion holds a Master of Science (MS) in International Development from the Payson Center. While pursuing her MS, Shea worked with Drs. William Bertrand and Elke de Buhr developing capacity building classes and reporting documents for a Department Of Labor contract with the purpose of eliminating the Worst Forms of Child Labor (WFCL) in cocoa production in Western Africa.

Nanette Svenson
Adjunct Assistant Professor

Dr. Svenson has 20 years of professional experience in international development, academia and the private sector. She works as an Adjunct Professor of Florida State University and independent consultant for the United Nations and other organizations involved in capacity development, particularly of higher education. She helped establish the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Centre for Latin American and Caribbean in Panama and worked there for four years in charge of research and knowledge management.
