I am originally from Bartlesville, Oklahoma but grew up in Topeka, Kansas. I graduated high school in 2003 and went on to study Musical Theater at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. After three years I switched majors and schools. May 2008 I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Anthropolgy with an emphasis on Archaeology. Directly after graduation I went into the Peace Corps and taught agriculture and nutrition in the highlands of Guatemala for two years and three months. After that I came back to school to get a JD and MS in International Development.
