Maria Trujillo

Maria Trujillo, PhD

Dr. Trujillo has spent more than 25 years applying engineering, project management, artificial intelligence and knowledge management concepts and methods to international development. At the end of 2011 she stepped down from the Vice Presidency at CAMRIS International, an international development firm, to become an independent consultant and small business start-up owner.  Dr. Trujillo’s main area of expertise is knowledge and project management, including information audits, curriculum development, and systems analysis.  She is currently carrying out Knowledge Management consulting for a private firm, and is carrying out two short term consultancies for The World Bank in Honduras and Nicaragua. Dr. Trujillo holds a PhD in International Development from Tulane University’s Payson Center, an MS in Artificial Intelligence in Knowledge Based Systems from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad del Valle in Colombia. Spanish is her mother tongue.
