Tanya  Garnett

 

Tanya Ansahta Garnett is a doctoral candidate and research assistant at the Payson Center for International Development, where she is currently researching and writing her dissertation on the role of gender in post-conflict rebuilding. Originally from Liberia, West Africa, Ms. Garnett has personal experience and interest in the study of conflict and post-conflict societies. Her other research interests include gender, socio-political development and natural resource management. Ms. Garnett has assisted with research on several national and international projects related to education, literacy, program evaluation, and capacity building.
