Berkeley-Tulane Initiative on Vulnerable Populations

An accountability research project based in Sudan, DRC, and Northern Uganda, the 'Berkeley-Tulane Initiative on Vulnerable Populations' conducted empirical research in order to give voice to survivors of mass violence related to war crimes, justice and reconstruction, health and human rights. The Initiative provided on-the-job training and mentorship building local capacity in data collection and analysis as the research was executed and provided fellowships to students.
