On Friday, May 15th, the Tulane Law School Payson Center for International Development celebrated its third annual Graduate Recognition Ceremony with a luncheon to recognize their accomplished graduate, undergraduate and doctoral students. Dean of Law School, David D. Meyer  and Payson Center Executive Director, Colin Crawford presided over the ceremony.

PhD Research Seminar: Brown Bag Lunch

Dr. Dauphine Sloan, Graduate and Doctoral Program Advisor is initiating a doctoral seminar series for students to discuss their research progress with their peers and one or two faculty members.

The first “brown bag” lunch meeting will be on Friday, April 10th from 12:00 to 1:30pm in the Payson conference room (300 Hebert Hall), and accessible via Go To Meeting ® (see instructions provided below).

One of the great satisfactions of my job is watching people move successfully through their degrees to completion. There is no greater degree challenge, of course, than researching, writing and defending a doctoral dissertation. I am pleased to report that last week two more Payson doctoral candidates successfully defended their dissertations.
