October was a busy month at the Payson Center as we welcomed three guest speakers to New Orleans for the Payson Graduate Student Association International Development Colloquium Series. All three speakers gave fascinating talks ranging in topics from urbanization in Kuwait to the importance of sustainable housing in Guatemala as well as the importance of studying the social and economic impact of development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
