Professor Paulo Affonso Leme Machado is considered the father of Brazilian environmental law and a drafter of the environmental protection article in his country's 1988 Constitution. 

Professor Julian Juergensmeyer is a leading expert on US and comparative land use law and author of major Land Use Law treatise.
