I am originally from Miami, FL and attended Florida International University, from where I have a B.A. in International Relations and Cultural Anthropology as well as a Certificate in African and African Diaspora Studies. I am currently in Panama with the Panam Field Work Experience as an intern for the United Nations Development Programme Regional Centre for Latin America and the Caribbean. As an intern in the Office of Information Systems and Technology/ Global Information Advisor, I directly assist in ICT4D projects (information and communications technology for development) as well as offer support to the Country Offices in the region.
My interests in the field include LGBTI Rights and Advocacy, Women's Empowerment, Microfinance and Microenterprise, Issues in Education, Poverty Reduction, and Culture.
