Shea Kathryne Shelton

Shea Kathryne Shelton, Tulane Payson Center

Shea is an investment professional with a unique background in International Development. Most recently, she was involved with Village Capital, a seed fund that invests in entrepreneurs who leverage disruptive technologies to solve big problems. Prior to Village Capital, she was one of the early team members at Health Nest, an accelerator fund in Shanghai helping foster the capacity of local entrepreneurs and mentors.

Shea is also an entrepreneur in her own right. She began her career in New Orleans by co-founding Pureland, a social enterprise to raise awareness and funding for wetland restoration in Gulf cities after the hurricanes of 2005.
